Ilko is Partner, COO and CCO at Vestal Point, responsible for all non-investment operations. Prior to Vestal Point, Ilko was Partner and COO at Pharo Management, Inc., an emerging markets macro hedge fund, where he worked from 2004 to 2023. He joined Pharo in 2004 as a P&L analyst and subsequently held different positions, including portfolio management, research and execution.

Prior to Pharo, Ilko worked at Bear Stearns in the Investment Banking Group. He graduated summa cum laude from Hamilton College with a double major in Economics and Mathematics. He is a CFA charterholder.
